DEVON MALCOLM & ROBERT CROFT DINNER

We are very pleased to welcome Devon & Robert to Steam.

On his day Devon was the fastest bowler in world cricket, but his playing style was also notable for his average batting which seemed however to add to his popularity. He was often given a big cheer when he went out to bat, often at number eleven. He hit some huge sixes for both England & Derbyshire.

Crofty played international cricket for England and County Cricket for Glamorgan as an off-spin bowler. He captained Glamorgan from 2003 to 2006. He retired from first class cricket at the end of the 2012 season, having played county cricket for 23 seasons.

The Dinner will include a mini interview with Devon & Robert conducted by our MC and then a Question & Answer session with them both. We will be raising for our chosen charity through an auction and through several table games where we will ask for a £20.00 per person donation.

Doors open at 6pm with sit down at 6.50pm with Dinner served at 7.00pm. The event will conclude at 10pm but the bar will remain open until 11pm.
