Cricket Dinner with Bob Willis

Tuesday 4th July 2017

Bob had a brilliant first class career and was an aggressive fast bowler with a notably long run up. He ammassed 325 wickets at 25 a piece and at the time was only second to Dennis Lillee in the World Rankings. He is England’s 4th highest wicket taker and memorably took a career best of 8-43 against Australia in the 1981 Ashes Headingly Test Match. He also captained England in 18 Test Matches winning 7.

Bob can now be seen plying his trade on Sky Sports in ‘The Verdict’ after each days play in an England Test Match and is certainly not afraid to say what he feels. Along the way he has managed to upset many of Englands curent and former players along with the odd coach!

The evening will include an interview with Bob conducted by our MC and a Question and Answer session. We will be raising money for our chosen charity on the night and will also hold a raffle as well as a running and main auction.
