Ally McCoist MBE
McCoist started his career at St Johnstone and then Sunderland before joining Rangers where he had a highly successful spell with them and became the club’s record goal scorer. He helped them win 9 consecutive league championships between 1988 and 1997. He played for Scotland 61 times and is currently the 5th highest goal scorer in the top tier of Scottish football.
Whilst establishing a career in the media whether on television or the radio, he also managed Rangers in 2011 for three years in what was a very difficult time for the club as they were relegated to the fourth tier of the Scottish League when the company were put into liquidation. He did however win back to back promotions but eventually left the club following a poor season.
The lunch will include a mini interview with Ally conducted by our MC and then a Question & Answer session with him. We will be raising for our chosen charity through an auction and through several table games where we will ask for a £20.00 per person donation.
