CHRIS WADDLE LUNCH

We are very pleased to welcome Chris to Steam.

During his professional career, which lasted from 1978 to 1998, he played for several clubs, including Newcastle, Spurs, Marseille and Sheffield Wednesday. In 1989, his transfer from Tottenham to Marseille for £4.5 million made him the third most valuable player in the world, and he won three successive Ligue 1 titles. While playing for Wednesday he was voted FWA Footballer of the Year for his performances in the 92/93 season. Waddle earned 62 caps for England between 1985 and 1991, which included being a member of the teams which reached the quarter-finals of the 1986 World Cup and the semi-finals of the 1990 World Cup.  

The Lunch will include a mini interview with Chris conducted by our MC and then a Question & Answer session with him. We will be raising for our chosen charity through an auction and through several table games where we will ask for a £20.00 per person donation.

Doors open at Midday with sit down at 1pm with Lunch served at 1.15pm. The event will conclude at 4pm but the bar will remain open until 8pm.
