SIR ANDREW STRAUSS LUNCH

England Captain in all formats of the game, over 7000 Test Runs and former Director of Cricket for the ECB, we are very pleased to welcome Straussy back to Steam.

If the event he did with us in 2021 is anything to go by, this will be another wonderful occasion.

A fluent left-handed opening batmen, Strauss favoured scoring off the back foot, mostly playing cut and pull shots. Strauss was also known for his fielding strength at or in the covers.

He was also the main instigator as head of the ECB in creating the team and unity that won the Cricket World Cup in 2019.

The Lunch will include a mini interview with Andrew conducted by our MC and then a Question and Answer session with him.

We will be raising funds on the night for our chosen charity through an auction and also through several table games including a raffle where we ask for a donation of £20.00 per person.

Doors open at Midday with sit down at 12.50pm. The event will conclude by 4.15pm but the bar will remain open until 8pm.

Tickets are £95.00 per person which includes a 3 course meal and inclusive of VAT
