SIR GEOFFREY BOYCOTT DINNER

Sir Geoffrey was with us in 2021 and he enjoyed himself so much that he wants to come back again!

This will be a very interesting and I am sure opionated Dinner. We will certainly get his honest and forthright views on the the way he played the game and the current issues in the game today.

In a prolific and sometimes controversial playing career from 1962 to 1986 for Yorkshire and England, Boycott established himself as one of England’s most successful opening batsmen. After retiring as a player, he pursued a successful career as a cricket commentator before retiring in 2020 and was knighted in 2019.

The Dinner will include a mini interview with Geoff conducted by our MC and then a Question and Answer session with him. We will be raising funds for our chosen charity through an auction and also through several table games including a raffle where we ask for a donation of £20.00 per person.

Doors open at 6pm with sit down at 6.50pm with Dinner served from 7pm. The event will conclude at 10pm but the bar will remain open until 11pm and I know Geoffrey is staying up that night so will more than happily chat in the bar afterwards.

Tickets are £90.00 per person
