One year at Steam, with Danny Vaughn

On May 28th, we’re celebrating one year since taking over Steam Wine Bar with a very special acoustic evening.

Headlining the night is Danny Vaughn, best known as the powerhouse voice behind legendary melodic rock band Tyketto. Rising to fame in the early 90s with tracks like “Forever Young”, Tyketto became cult favourites of the rock world, known for huge choruses, soulful vocals, and arena-sized emotion wrapped in leather jackets and late-night neon. Danny’s acoustic performances strip those songs back to their raw heartbeat, equal parts storytelling session and rock ‘n’ roll séance by candlelight.

Joining the evening in support will be Tom & Alex Bittles of The Brink, bringing a mix of acoustic favourites, harmonies, and the sort of songs that belong in a packed wine bar with glasses clinking and voices singing along by the second chorus.

It’s more than just a gig for us. It’s a celebration of a wild, rewarding, exhausting, brilliant first year at Steam. One year of quiz nights, blues sessions, packed Fridays, late finishes, new faces, familiar faces, and somehow keeping the train on the tracks. 🚂

Expect an intimate acoustic atmosphere, great wine, cocktails flowing, and a night built for music lovers.
