1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They let the site remember things between page loads, recognise you when you come back, and give us anonymous information about how the site is being used so we can improve it.
This page explains the cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
2. The cookies we use
We try to keep our cookie use to the minimum needed to run the website properly and to understand whether what we are publishing is useful. We do not use intrusive advertising cookies.
Essential cookies
These cookies are required for the website and the booking flow to work. They cannot be switched off in our systems. They do not store any personal information by themselves, and they do not track you across other websites.
| Cookie | What it does |
|---|---|
| Session cookie | Holds your session while you move through the booking flow, so the form remembers what you have entered. |
| CSRF token | Protects the booking form against cross-site request forgery attacks. |
| Cookie consent | Remembers your cookie preferences so we do not ask you again on every visit. |
Analytics cookies
Where applicable, we use Google Analytics to understand at an aggregate level how visitors find the site, what pages get used, and where things might be confusing. The data is anonymous and we do not see individual visitors. You can switch these off without any impact on your ability to use the site.
| Cookie | What it does |
|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes unique visitors anonymously, expires after 24 months |
| _ga_* | Stores the session state for Google Analytics 4, expires after 24 months |
| _gid | Distinguishes users for one day, expires after 24 hours |
Customer relationship management cookies
Our customer relationship management platform, provided by HighLevel Inc., places a small number of cookies that help us understand which marketing emails brought a guest to the site, and which event pages have led to bookings. These cookies do not contain personal data themselves but they do let us link an action on the site to an individual contact in our system.
| Cookie | What it does |
|---|---|
| __tve_visitor | Anonymous visitor identifier used to attribute a booking back to its email source |
| highlevel_session | Session continuity for the embedded booking forms |
3. Managing your cookie preferences
When you first visit the website you will see a cookie banner inviting you to accept all cookies, decline non-essential cookies, or pick and choose. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the cookies in your browser, which will trigger the banner to appear again on your next visit.
Through your browser
Every modern browser lets you view, accept, reject, or delete cookies on a per-site basis. The exact location of these settings varies by browser, but all the major ones provide help articles:
- Google Chrome: support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
- Apple Safari: support.apple.com/HT201265
- Mozilla Firefox: support.mozilla.org/kb/cookies
- Microsoft Edge: support.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge
Note that disabling essential cookies will break the booking flow on this site. If you cannot complete a booking online, please call us on 020 7929 0819 and we will take it manually.
Through Google Analytics
Google provides a browser add-on that opts you out of all Google Analytics tracking across every website that uses it. You can install it from tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
4. Third party content
Some pages on this site embed content from third parties such as Google Maps (for the venue location), YouTube (occasional event highlights), or Stripe (for the payment flow). When you interact with that embedded content, the third party may set its own cookies. We do not control those cookies, and you should consult the relevant provider’s privacy and cookie policy for detail.
5. Changes to this policy
We will update this page if our cookie use changes meaningfully. The “last updated” date at the top of the page will always reflect the most recent revision.
