About Mike Tindall

Mike Tindall is one of the most recognisable figures in English rugby. Born in Otley, Yorkshire, in 1978, he won 75 caps for England as a powerful centre and was a key member of the side that lifted the Rugby World Cup in Australia in 2003. At club level he played for Bath and Gloucester, captaining Gloucester and winning domestic honours across a career of more than a decade at the top of the English game. He was appointed MBE in 2007 for services to rugby. Since retiring he has built a second career in broadcasting and events, co-hosting the popular podcast The Good, The Bad and The Rugby and appearing on I’m a Celebrity in 2022. A natural storyteller with two decades of dressing-room material, he is one of the most entertaining lunch guests in British sport.
