Wine Club

A proper wine evening, not a lecture

Steam has always been as much about the list as it is about the speakers. Wine Club is a new format, recurring but not weekly, where one of our wine team takes the floor and walks a small room through four to six carefully chosen pours.

The idea is a long way from wine snobbery. Come to learn, come to enjoy, come because your working week needs a good reason to slow down on a Wednesday. Small plates matched to each pour so the tasting actually tells a story instead of just clearing your palate.

Format and timing

Evenings run from half past six to around nine, with a welcome glass on arrival. The host introduces each wine with a short story about where it comes from and why we chose it, then leaves the table to taste and talk before moving to the next pour.

Capacity will be deliberately small, around twenty guests per evening. Prices and specific dates are being confirmed now. Register your interest on the right and we will email you the moment dates are live, before anything goes on general sale.
